    Upon returning to active status and live performances in late 2022, Birmingham, AL-based band Model Citizen recorded an album of classic set material live to tape at Dial Back Sound in Water Valley, MS. The tracks were then mastered to lacquer at Sam Phillips in Memphis, TN.

    This marks the first time the band has been pressed to vinyl since 1998, and is quite possibly the only recording that even begins to capture the energy of a Model Citizen live performance.

    The band felt this "live-in-studio" approach was preferable to reissuing older albums that were recorded digitally in the CD era and never intended to be on vinyl. We think your ears will agree!
